This Palace is nothing for fancy dinners but the best quick nash for the young evening. Nothing for for partying but the best place to celebrate with friends. Nothing for picking up a date for the night but a place to get to know nice and friendly people, including staff and the owner! It feels like the social version of my own livingroom, with a wide selection of beers (draught and bottle), long drinks, a nice small menu with the best burgers in town. The only bad thing to tell? You might have to wait for a table as it is almost always packed including off peak weekdays. But then you just wait at the bar with a drink in hand, and quickly get to know others...
Nettes Lokal zum versumpfen, für lange Gespräche mit Weinbegleitung. Eine steile Treppe führt ins Kellergeschoss: Schummriges Licht, alte Kaffeehausmöbel, die Wände sind mit nostalgischen Filmpostern dekoriert. Meistens sehr voll, also gut besucht. Deshalb kommt manchmal der Service nicht hinterher, aber die sind dafür immer sympathisch. Im Sommer noch besser vor dem Lokal auf der Promenade sitzen. Burger sind super lecker.
Sehr gute Burger mit teils langer Wartezeit (30 Minuten). Chilliger Gastgarten abseits der Landstraße, der immer gut besucht ist. Leider war es in letzter Zeit fast unmöglich telefonisch zu reservieren, da einfach niemand abhebt... Das Personal ist freundlich und das Lokal ist sowohl zu Fuß als auch öffentlich sehr einfach zu erreichen und gut mit einer Shopping Tour kombinierbar.
When I was still living in Linz this was one of my second living rooms. And that's how it felt. Always greeted by the friendly owner (if he was there) this place has something special. I loved hanging out there with dear friends or after work. I would call it an institution in Linz. Go there. It's the only place in Linz with a little bistro charme from Paris.

cozy atmosphere, surrounded by old posters, which miss the spatial features a rustic touch, solid burger, moderately faster, for this usually very friendly service. my personal highlight was an evening where someone actually played for about an hour at the piano, which is in the middle of the room.
the burgers are in order to good. a vegan alternative would be nice. ambiente is very fine in summer (gastgarten,) but also inside the exxtrablatt is very successful, however not sure no restaurant, but a beer-local.
Absolut empfehlenswerte Location. Zwar ist das Personal zu Stoßzeiten immer etwas überfordert, aber die chillige Atmosphäre und das gute Essen machen alles wieder gut. Ich freue mich schon auf den nächsten Besuch!
the exxtrablatt is really exxtra different from other cafe bars. in the center spittelwiese of linz. You can't really describe it, you must have seen it. in the summer pleasant shade.

Immer wieder sehr gemütlich für einen Afterworkdrink, auch die Burger sind sehr zu empfehlen, hier muss man eher aufpassen nicht zu lange sitzen zu bleiben
Wie immer eine Freude hier zu sein. Sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Leckere Burger und kaltes Bier. Alles erschwinglich. Gerne wieder
