I would strongly advise against visiting this restaurant unless you're looking to get sick. I picked up some fafda from there, and when I got home, I noticed that the chutney had spoiled. To be sure, I asked three other people to taste it, and they all agreed it was off. The fafda themselves were also somewhat stale and didn't taste fresh. I called the next day since the shop was already closed, and a woman on the phone told me to bring back the food for a refund. Situated in Bergen County, this restaurant is quite small and has limited seating. While the ambiance isn’t particularly notable, the food they serve is quite tasty. I ordered jalebi and fafda, but I was disappointed to find out that they don’t offer papaya chutney. The chutneys available were a bit too watery and could use some improvement. On a positive note, the dhokla I had was fresh and enjoyable. Although this place offers a good variety of snacks, I think they could enhance their business by adding certain items, like khandvi, to their menu for order.
Its just rude that I reach at 7:20pm there are 3 signs on the door that says they are open until 8pm but the people inside are working, refusing to even look at the door as I am knocking. I get closing early to clean up and prep for next day but 40min????? It just rude and offensive that they refuse to acknowledge a humanbeing standing at the door. I would be okay if they told me they closed early but they chose to ignore me.
We want to this place and asked do you guys make fresh jalebi and gathiya, she said yes. Then we got cold jalebi and gathiya. We asked that india mein it is served hot. Then she said everywhere they make once a week, but here we make every night.Then she heated both in thermocol plate and thermocol melted. Then we were give single jalebi, saying that jalebi should be eaten cold. Lilva kachori was good, it is expensive.

TASTY, AMZING SERVICE, True Gem is Lady who serve us.Funny thing is, We ask for Tea and lady told us to bring milk from super market and gave us money, we immediately feel like we are in home.I visited Newyork/New Jersey from Florida and, i was having Gujarati Breakfast craving. We drove there and every minute we drove is worth it.We ordered FAFDA-JALEBI, SEV KHAMNI, SAMOSA, TEA.
The service was outstanding, with our order arriving hot and on time. However, the spice level was quite intense, which left my stomach upset for three days. I also wished the rotis weren't so heavily coated in oil, as many people are striving to eat healthier these days.
The food was saggy and not fresh! It was incomplete order. A few items were missing. And the Quantity Quality of the food was disgusting!! Bekarr food for all time.
I purchased fafda jalebi on dussehra. Don’t expect taste like you get in India. I bought 2 pounds unfortunately it’s going in garbage. Owner attitude is not good.

Their Bombay sandwich is amazing!!! Other great recommendations include vada pav, Pani puri, dabeli, methi gota, methi chicken, egg tikka and dahi puri!
