We had previously enjoyed wonderful experiences at the Athletic Club, but this time was extremely disappointing. They have a kitchen, proper dishes, and silverware, which we had experienced before. It was a disgrace to be served in such a manner with paper and plastic.
When the bill arrived, the per-person price was slightly reduced, but an additional $200 charge that we were not made aware of was included. As the organizer, I must sincerely apologize to our members for this unfortunate event. We all look forward to our gatherings, and this one was indeed a great letdown.
We recently hosted a repast gathering at FLAC, and we were very pleased with our experience. The staff and the venue were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Everything was set up and ready for us when we arrived, which made a challenging time feel much more comforting. The food was outstanding—everything from the penne to the chicken, sausage and peppers, and even the antipasto was delicious. We also had an open bar for our guests, and the service was excellent with a well-stocked bar. We highly recommend FLAC for anyone needing a venue for a private event.
However, the big drawback is that FLAC is quite cramped. This issue has been exacerbated by a recent renovation that removed the karaoke/live music stage and replaced it with a pool table that requires significant space around it. Typically, there are over 40 people enjoying karaoke, while only about 5-10 are interested in playing pool. I'm not sure what the best solution is, but perhaps they could consider opening up a section of the large event space in the back for karaoke?
It was my first time here! My friend invited me to see her boyfriend's band play here and it was a great time! I loved the size of the bar because it was intimate and I never lost my friends. The band area was really nice and I loved playing pool! The bartender was really nice! Would definitely come back!

This spot has a great new lunch and dinner menu. Lots of options. My personal favorites are Toli's Whiskey Wings which are crispy wings in a sweet whiskey sauce. The smokehouse burger has cheddar, bbq, and lots of bacon. Everything was hot and fresh. I'll definitely be back!
This is a great place to have catering! I had a party of 80 people and we had room to dance eat and even a place to have drinks! Waldy Salinas did a pretty good job. Also the bar is a pretty good place to spend the night. I will definitely come back.
Food was great. Atmosphere was pretty good a lot of locals. I went on a Friday night and it was karaoke night so it was fun. I would go again.
Remember coming here as a young man growing up in Fair Lawn. Always a friendly bunch and a great atmosphere to have a cocktail in.

Come for lunch at least twice a week. Food is always good along with the friendly service.
Cheap beer, good pizza, buyback if you're a stand up guy... can't go wrong with this one
