FairGrounds Hotel

Our favorite lunch spot when in Allentown. It specializes in lobster other seafood but has chicken, beef, pork on the menu, too. We enjoy their under lunch specials This time, my husband had a lobster roll with melted butter, crispy fries creamy NE clam chowder. I enjoyed a huge lobster salad with iceberg, tomatoes, carrots, red onions, cucumbers, avacadoes of course, chunks of lobster. The house made Green Goddess dressing topped it off. Super meal. Loved everything.

My husband I really enjoy coming to this old (remodeled) hotel. They have a varied menu with seafood specialties for under I had piping hot NE clam chowder which was creamy full of clams, potatoes, bacon. My garden salad with house made Green Goddess dressing was a refreshing side dish to my crab cake. My husband also had the chowder. He loves their hot lobster roll sandwich he had fries as his side dish. Rice pudding or ice cream are offered for luncheon desserts.

As frequent visitors to Allentown, we were aware of the Fairgrounds Hotel but hadn't tried it until now.
