Spoilt by a magnificent day, we were able to enjoy our coffee au-dehors and appreciate Howth in the far background and the bustling park in the foreground. Some observations: Accessibility: Steps up to the entrance of Fallon Byrne's have no handrail for the elderly. Sustainability: no recycling is done (at least it's not evident as everything ends up in a bin as pictured below). Food experience: just had a coffee that was hot and creamy. After a walk through the volkspark we decided to eat our Sunday dinner here. I was hungry so I wanted to fill something to be a vegetarian, I decided to be a goat cheese and butternut squash tart (very small options for vegetarian). this came with a side of veg, but the waiter gave me the opportunity to swallow veg on baby cooking....I'm glad I went to cook for the baby! the tart was tiny, so I needed the baby to feel far away full. the tar was light, tasty and had a beautiful balance of aromen, although the goat cheese seemed to have come out of the refrigerator, so that it was hot and cold. my friends had the burger and chips. they both liked it. This Fallon and Byrne outpost by the seaside is a must for busy city folk in need of rest and respite to take the sea air.The restaurant is bright and airy, with high ceilings and gigantic windows, allowing hungry diners to peer out onto the luscious manicured gardens.Service here leaves much to be obliged unfortunately. love the atmosphere of this place, the perfect place after a long walk on the pier. we only did on the last Sunday and then came here for some oysters, a glass blow for me and peel the seafood cahowder. the oysters were of the great variety of carlingford, salty and fresh. the seafood chowder was the classic type and had a lot of fresh fish and after a crispy and crispy walk was pleasant and warm. the ambiente is beautiful and the large windows and the subtle lighting make it the perfect name to enjoy an early fall. the service was impeccable, and their advice to their offered was well received, not only from us, but also from other dinners. the menu is wide and there...read more

I brought my mother to this restaurant last Friday. The service was not great as the employees seemed to be standing around, which upset me. The ambiance of the restaurant is amazing. I probably wouldn't return for dinner, but maybe for a hot chocolate and a sandwich. It seems more fitting for a lunch spot. I tried two salad starters. The goat cheese salad was not as expected, but the sweet potato salad was delicious.
