Fanfare Brunch Boulangerie

Me and my friend, we visited this place on 28th may 2023, around 11:30am for brunch. We were visiting from Toronto, we called to the place to reserve the table, however they mentioned that reservations are not required. So we reached there and asked for the table for two. There were around 6-7 empty tables still we were refused to dine in. I am staying in canada from last 5 years, visited Montreal for the first time and experienced this! I am not sure what went wrong, was it my brown skin color or my inability to speak French. Either way i felt insulted. The staff didn’t even offer us take out option or asked us to wait for table. We were asked to walk out from the cafe.

Remarkable menu! Really enjoyed the pineapple and bacon French toast, and the spiked machiattos : Very cozy place, a bit of a creative chaos energy in there which was lovely. Got a miche sesame after the brunch and it was the equivalent of a Montreal sesame bagel, but better!

Bakery, café, restaurant. That’s ambitious.I regularly buy their bread, for sandwiches mostly. The croissant I had this morning was stretchy and buttery. Rich latté, served in bowl that’s French style, right? Window seats with a view of rue Jarry on a sunny morning.

One of the few brunch places that actually take reservations. The place is small and cozy, and (being a bakery) the bread is truly great. Staff was super friendly, and the service was great, even with the restaurant packed with both dine-in and take out clients.

Disappointed this morning! was literally kicked off by the owner right after we finished our coffee to give place to an other couple who’s waiting to take a brunch, even if an other table was free!You should reconsider your way of treating customers.

I got a cheesecake and charlotte. Usually cheesecake is baked but it wasn’t baked one. But it was so so so good. Atmosphere was lovely and everything looked tasty. I’d love to come back and try something else next time.

Was kind a long for our meals. Good service. Was surprised. For à small place they take réservations. Its should have been first comes first served(in my opinion).

Nice and chill vibe. Got iced tea and cinnamon roll. Iced tea was great: well balanced flavour and not too sweet. Cinnamon roll I less preferred but not bad.

Brunch was so yummyyyyy, the place is cute, bunch of plants everywhere. I love the vibe.

Wonderful bread at this bakery, and brunch is fantastic too!
