Wonderful first date dinner at Fascino! Was confused by the change in name on door- Rosie’s .. which they said was a pop up menu in honor of chefs grandmother, I believe ? . Shared steak and spicy rigatoni and both were delish even impressed my date who is not typically impressed by food in general . The servers were so sweet and brought me a dessert and card even though we didn’t ask. We didn’t realize it was byo and they provided a wine delivery service menu. My only, very minor, feedback would be that lighting could have been a bit dimmer/more ambient- in my opinion. Really nice for a date, family meal, any occasion!
fascino was fantastic years ago, but during a recent visit, it was just ok. the ambiance is super casual and the lighting much too bright. charred octopus seemed prepared someplace else and sauteed, it wasn't served at the right temp and the flavor was dull. we didn't stay for entrees. our server was kind but lacked experience.
