Grillera Mediterranean Cuisine

This dining spot has undergone several iterations over the years, but I think someone finally got it right. My wife has been there for lunch with a small group on several occasions and has been very pleased. This time, we two couples decided to try it for dinner, and we could not have been happier. (Of course, bringing a good bottle of wine may have helped. The ladies shared a small Shepherd salad with feta cheese, which was large enough for me to join in. Grillera Mediterranean is the latest restaurant to occupy this spot, and I am pulling for it. I have been there several times, as have my companions, and we have never been disappointed. This last visit was wonderful. The guys each started with a different soup while the ladies shared a salad (which we all sampled). For the main course we each shared a lamb or chicken Shish, which was among the most favorable I have ever had. The combination, with a good bottle of wine I had brought along, made the meal perfect. this restaurant offers plenty of delicious food in a comfortable room. the personal is in order, but the problem is that, like its sister location in chatham, the restaurant has inadequate staff for the number of tables. this leads to constant undesirable delays and long times in which no waiter is visible. it seems to be a family business, which is nice, but more employees should be hired, especially when dinner is dinner.

Table seating in the front end of restaurant is terrible on a cold day/night. Every time the door opened a cold blast of air came thru, annoying and uncomfortable as you are trying to enjoy your dinner. Food was ok, not bad , nott great. Nothing wowed me to want to return. If you want to experience great Mediterranean/Turkish or Lebanese food... try any place in the Paterson /Clifton area.... this place doesn’t compare. Reserva una mesa ahora

our third time. unfortunately we did not make a reservation 2. visit (Saturday Night 7PM) and they were solid booked so we had to go to another place (we will not make this mistake again.) eating is fresh and well prepared--- terrific, and service is not pressing and happy to use their byo. we like to eat and this restaurant very.

Wonderful experience on New Year's Eve. Waitstaff was friendly and very attentive. Food was delicious for the most part. Meats were somewhat under-spiced and two of the pieces of chicken in one person's dish were quite gristly and inedible. Otherwise a great experience. Definitely recommend and look forward to returning soon.

grillera is excellent throughout. well prepared, fresh, well seasoned Greek/Mediterranean cuisine. easy to share appetitzüglers and main courses. byob so that they can drink what they want- favorite wines and beer etc. always really good--so happy this restaurant exists under the sea of the usual places in new jersey

First time we’ve been here since the name change. Food was excellent but the service left much to be desired. Waiter never came over to check in on us and we had to wait ridiculously long to get the check. Hopefully this was an off night because we definitely would come back for the delicious food.
