What a delight! I stopped on a whim and was so happy I did. The staff were polite, and the food delicious. I got a luncheon special which came with a salad, a cold appetizer, an entree, and a soda. I chose hummus as the cold app and it was so creamy and light! I gobbled it up on fluffy, warm pita bread. Then came the Gypsy salad, a lovely blend of cabbage and carrots with a tangy lemon dressing. Then my falafel entree arrived which was perfectly browned and on a bed of rice. I was pleasantly surprised to find the rice delicious and not too salty, and the sauce was again a delight for falafel dipping. I had leftovers from the lunch special! (And y'all, I'm a big woman and never have leftovers...
The Bronzino and Chicken Kebab are both flavorful and tasty dishes. They are superb! Also, the hummus is such a great complement to any meal salad, meat, fish doesnt matter, but the hummus has a creamy and soft flavor that enhances any dish. The shepherd salad is a classic with a good balance of dressing, and you can take the flavors up a step by adding feta cheese for the most authentic experience. I highly recommend this cozy cafe for its delicious homemade Turkish dishes, friendly service, and affordable prices. While it may not have the grandeur of a traditional restaurant, the food is still exceptional. You will be served fresh hot bread and butter complimentary, and all meats are halal and fresh. Always delicious. The best part of the food is how fresh the food is, especially the salads and peppers. Very crisp and very flavorful! Definitely order an extra hummus bc it tastes so good youll eat it faster than you think
The restaurant is lovely and the staff are very friendly. While some dishes were excellent, others were just okay. The service was outstanding, and the dessert was delicious. I will definitely visit again.
The portion size of the Lamb Gyro Kebab (Doner) and Hummus is generous. The flavors are delicious and I will definitely visit again when I'm in town. The pita bread is always a hit, never disappoints.
This restaurant is consistently great. Whenever we go, we always order the family platter for 4. The rice is always delicious and the meats are always tender and juicy, never dry or tough.
