The new owners did a fantastic job to renovate this place. The old layout is still there, but everything is brand new the interior looks really nice. The woman who took my order was friendly, funny and fast. Above all, I thought the food was fantastic. Love the natural cutries and the chili has a beautiful, thicker texture and light kick as I like it. You have a small menu (no burgers), but I would rather eat in a place that makes a few things very good than somewhere that has a variety of sub par food. I have seen some complaints about the lack of meal and prices too high, but I did not feel overpaid at all. I'll be back soon!
I stopped by hoping to get a hotdog but discovered they serve BBQ ribs, so we decided to give them a try. The ribs were excellent, as were the beans and coleslaw. I really appreciated the fresh-cut fries as well. I think they only offer BBQ on Saturdays, so we plan to try the BBQ chicken next time. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. The prices are quite reasonable—$12 for a half slab.
This restaurant is an excellent choice for a meal. They offer some homemade-style dishes on the menu. The fries are made from real potatoes, which is truly remarkable. I'm particularly a fan of the Cheesy Cow and the meatball sandwich. There’s also a daily special worth trying. Typically, the service from ordering to serving is quite quick. I highly recommend Fat Doggy'z to anyone I know.
On this comb sandwich there is no slipping of beef and sausage. Order took less than drive through a fast food restaurant. I bought it at 7:36 and it was still hot at 8:45.
