Went to visit this restaurant after being recommended by a friend who attended a few years back it seems that La Favela hasn’t aged like fine wine. We got a table indoors and it was extremely cold and uncomfortable. The service was slow and...the staff seemed uninterested. When I asked to hear the cocktails available the bar staff weren’t familiar with their menu. They suggested I name some cocktails to spur their memory as to whether it was included on the menu. Great start when we entered, the staff were friendly and welcoming, Waited mins for food as I sipped a flat beer. once the food arrived things got worse: fries were cold , Quesadilla was greasy. And my friends Cuban sandwhich looked like it had...been sat on, and tasted like a grill machine In a positive, I had time to read the enormous menu . We found this place in and have been back each year apart from the year of the C Amazing place, one of the few places I have found who have worked out to combine a great restaurant and a lively evening bar. I...had the Cuban Sandwich, absolutely delightful, get the sharing tower and a jug of margarita to start! Great way to start and end a holiday See you next year!
Group of of us and pretty much everyone didn't like the food, the hard tacos we're basically a old el paso kit with luke warm chilli, half of the corn on the cobs we're stone cold. I had the steak panini which was the...dryest panini I have ever had, the steak was chewy and hardly any of it. The burritos we're dripping with oil.For the price you pay its ridiculous.
Our worst experience and most expensive meal by far in Val Thorens. It took over an hour for our order to be taken to when our drinks arrived. Just absolutely shocking food and service the sweet potato fries were about the only edible part of...my meal. Absolutely not worth the money, avoid at all cost.
Very poor quality of food for a relatively expensive menu. Some items of food were sent back to the kitchen because they were served cold. Those items even came out of the kitchen for a second time just as cold!

Waited an hour and half for food after taking order. Didn’t even come over to check on table. Other tables serves first for locals.
My husband I and shared the Carioca platter for lunch and every dish was really tasty. Dips were great. Service good but not busy
