I frequent here a lot. A lot of the ladies recognize me and know I always order Yin Yang , milk tea combined with coffee. Clearly those ladies aren 't paying attention now, in the past two months they gave me milk tea instead on 3 different occasions. The first time I let it go. But comon, 3 times in such short period of time. The second time I called to complain. They say to bring back for exchange. Seriously after going back home you want me to come out again. I said no. They said they won 't charge me next time. 3rd time I took back for exchange cuz it happened that I planned to go out again. During this pandemic the Yin Yang is considered an indulgence I take once or twice a week because...
I thought the prices at this restaurant were surprisingly low. For example, a loaf of raisin bread was only $3. However, I was disappointed when I found two long hairs in one slice when I ate it at home. If the staff doesn't take the necessary precautions, such as wearing hair nets while preparing food, I will not be returning to this establishment.
Recently received a parking ticket for 115 dollars for entering star bakery .. great wedding green bean pastry. The parking signs should not only be for commercial parking ... ugh .plus no standing please have someone change.. so people can park occasionally. But, besides that the Star Bakery I'd so yummy..
Affordable bakery with all the classic Chinese (Hong Kong style) bakery goodies. Pineapple buns, hot dog buns, pork floss buns, etc. Love their walnut cupcakes and milk tea. A new find is their fruit and nuts filled loaf. Star Bakery is cheaper than other Chinese bakeries on the same block.

I purchased a black bean bun, but it turned out to be filled with red bean paste. I was very disappointed and felt deceived, especially since this was the second time it happened. It seems like the baker may have changed. However, I do enjoy their egg custard and almond cookies.

One of my favorite places to get cake. They never disappoint the cake is always soft and spongy and the frosting is perfect too
Pick and choose your own baked goods. Try the hot buns. But, get a roll cake to go. Can't beat $8.
