This is our neighbourhood Deli/corner store and its always worth a visit for the unexpected and wide range of gourmet foods and fresh fruits and vegetables. Its a small store but focuses on quality and seasonal produce rather than supermarket items. My partner is a professional Chef and cooking teacher and he relies on this shop for finding those more obscure gourmet items and interesting seasonal vegetables. Not always the cheapest but certainly first for quality and knowledgable, professional staff.

Most of the time when traveling on business I eat out. Every once in a while the urge comes to pick up some nice things and organize either a picnic or a quiet, private supper. Honestly, I was astonished by the quality of this gourmet grocer. They have produce, cheeses, and delicacies that one would expect to find in the food-halls of Fortnum's or Harrods.Likewise, the service is extremely friendly and very professional. This is absolutely the place to shop in Schwäbisch Hall.

knaussi has been a part of my life for many years - my best friend lives in Schwäbisch Hall and I visit a couple of times per year from Denmark.
