If you like duck, which I do, this is a must visit quaint little place. My wife, who was not a fan of duck, now is. It's that good - it can convert non-believers into appreciators of the finest of fowls. We were warned by our hosts not to expect much from the service. This is France, so I never do. I found them to be very straightforward and above-average in their charm. Then again, any time a meal in France concludes without a shouting match with the serving-staff or chef is a success in my books. The food is very reasonably priced. I strongly recommend the plat de chef (it's either called that or something similar), which has duck prepared two ways, beautiful sardinaise potatoes and a decent...

Ate lunch here a couple of times, and it is interesting to say the least. The food is exceptional, the confit de canard is wonderful and the pommes de terres sarlandaises brilliant. Everyone's meal was truly enjoyed. The menu revolves around duck, but there are a few non duck plates of which the fricassee aux cepes was popularIt is a challenge because they don't admit to speaking English, so your schoolboy French will get a thorough testing. That said, you can get by if you try. The waiter has been mentioned elsewhere, and he is not the life and soul, but he was pretty good about volunteering a high chair, and was fine if you tried a bitReally worth a visit

This little farm is my favorite restaurant on the planet. Everything is plus que frais, impeccably executed. All local foods; their supplers' names and phone numbers are on the cover of the menu. Mainly simple dishes that are wonderful. Foie gras for starter or main, confit de canard, maybe lamb ... and then they bring a huge cheese tray with the instruction "Servez-vous copieusement." Normally you can get a table outdoors... though once they quickly moved us indoors when a storm blew in. Service is warm and genuine. All in all delightful.

This restaurant was about full when we visited, late August but luckily we had reserved a table earlier in the day. A small group who turned up looking for a table were ushered out with a swift "non" and no apparent encouragement ti book for another day. As others have noted, service is definitely not included here. The food was good, but quite rich so the menu degustation is not for the faint hearted, but if you like duck and foie gras and fancy dinner served by the farmer who raised them, then this is the place. A beautiful inn with a great restaurant. The food was fantastic - we went there twice. The first time we ordered the 6 course tasting menu - everything was so delicious, but could not finish it. The second time, we just ordered the soup (so good) main dish, & dessert. The profiteroles with dark chocolate were delicious -& huge. Definitely a must visit restaurant, but probably helpful if you speak a little French. (Tho there were people there who were just speaking in English & they seemed to do ok)

Excellent meal, very good value and choices - although cheese course only consisted of one small piece of blue cheese, no other choice offered. The soup was delicious - could have eaten the whole tureen! The waiter was a little abrupt in his manner, but we had been forewarned - he did get a bit more friendly by the end of the evening!

Recommended for its extra crispy duck, the food was excellent and the outdoor setiing very romantic. It's just a shame it was spoiled by an unfriendly waiter who made no attempt to engage with us even though we speak adequate french.

This restaurant is in a beautiful setting. The food is superb. Potage to die for, perfect portion sizes and an amazing cheeseboard. Will be back next year hopefully more than once. Reserva una mesa ahora
