Ferme-Auberge du Wissgrut

Thinking about going to a farm inn, whose first quality is the reception of the hiker with the possibility of consuming a snack croute, we have, poor unconscious market three hours, a Sunday of August 2016, and arrived starved around 14:00 at the hostel. And there, big disappointment. Tables were going to be released, but there was nothing to eat, not even two sandwiches. So we had a drink, a story of taking a few strengths, and we walked two hours to a real inn farm on the way back, in which we were able to devour the traditional cheese crudity pie... that we would have really enjoyed being able to find wisgrut. in short, given the more recent comments, it would seem that we can eat there.....

to start, the inn farm is very difficult to find and poorly indicated. It would be nice to put panels!As a vegan I thought I was rejected and had to fight to receive food. it is true that very few farms inn (I would say 1 out of 8) adapt to this kind of customers who are increasingly numerous! Yet here I was entitled to a real special menu, composed of an entrance and a dish that was excellent!! the vegetables served in this inn farm are all organic and the crudities were very good. I hold mostly mushrooms back to the bear garlic, a real delight. On the other hand, the blueberry pie didn't like me, I found that the use of white cheese was not necessary and denaturated the pie. What was my surprise to see this mountain inn after its reconstruction following a fire that had completely destroyed it.Only flat to this reconstruction did not respect the firm style. The building is very modern to see too modern.But let's go. very nice and good food with local products.Personal super nice.Price very reasonable

very good reception and friendly service. good local products at very reasonable prices. A good address for a meal in the beautiful Vosges landscapes. Only small reproach: being able to eat on the terrace would be really great in these beautiful landscapes.

Second visit that confirms my first: the building is really ugly, it is tasked in the landscape. We'd believe in the city...For the rest, the welcome was lightly warmer.
