The gyros here are large and delicious; I often struggle to finish one. A highlight is the pita, which is usually freshly made and warmed on the grill. The meat is generously portioned and is probably the best lamb gyro meat I've ever tasted. While it is a bit more expensive compared to some other places, the quality justifies the higher price. A gyro and a soda typically cost around $20. I've visited about five times, and all but one of my experiences have been exceptional; that one was still quite good. Overall, I'd say that's a fantastic success rate. I definitely recommend this place!
I absolutely adore this place! It’s probably my favorite deli, and I’ve been coming here for nearly 10 years. You must try the ham and Swiss on extra sourdough, served warm. Just add a bit of mustard, and that’s all you need. The hours can be a bit unusual—they're open from 10 AM to 3 PM, Tuesday through Saturday, and closed on Sundays and Mondays. There isn’t a lot of seating available, but the wait is usually short; you just have to chance it. They also have a deli counter for takeout, and you can order sandwiches to go.
Really was looking forward to having a late lunch , got there at 2:35 was told we couldn't have a seat because they close at 3:00 well if they close at 3 wouldn't 2:35 still be open for service. Big disappointment..I guess they get enough service to not take anymore tables . Seems strange to be but ok then. Not even a take out order would they take. Maybe put a sign on the window .
Call your order in. They prioritize phone in orders over dine in. To the point that I waiting over an hour to get the food I ordered right after sitting down as in, drinks and food were ordered at the same time.Also, “admin fee” tacked onto our bill at the end…???Table next to us waited long enough they dropped $30 cash on the table and walked out.One and done…

A fantastic little deli in the middle of my home town, I had no idea this place existed until 4 years after I moved cross country and came back for the holidays. I am blown away by the food, service, and ambiance of this place!
Who would have guessed that Oakdale would have such a good place to eat? Authentically Italian-American pastas, excellent sandwiches, and perfect potato salad. A bit too noisy, but overall, really worth a visit!
Super busy and crowded all the time but that's because the food is awesome. I've been looking all over for a good tri-tip sandwich and they have it.
This is the best restaurant I've ever been to! I absolutely adore the staff and the atmosphere.
