Uneven to poor. The food was generally acceptable, but bland and with complete lack of creativity. Everything needed at least a dash of salt (which was not even found on the table) and a good shake of pepper (which was very reluctantly brought by the waiter after asking multiple times). Salads were not crisp and cold, more sort of luke cold and semi flimsy. Marinara was average; al fredo was much more cream (or milk) than parmesan and butter. Pasta tased fresh, though. Veal scaloppine had good flavor, but was a very small portion. The food was nothing short of FANTASTIC! (Though I may struggle to spell most of the dishes, I will describe them with my best effort.) My dining companion and I enjoyed the caprese salad, a wedge salad, seasoned bread with marinara (which came complimentary with our meal), gnocchi in a creamy sauce, and chocolate mousse for dessert. Despite my difficulty in naming the dishes, I can confidently say that my tasting skills are on point. The caprese was incredible, perfectly balancing the flavors of fresh mozzarella, oil, and tomato. The mozzarella was simply delightful—so fresh! The food was delicious! Had pasta carbonara with steak and calamari as appetizer! Everything was great but our waiter was very rude. At first it didn't seem like anything , but the it slowly progressed more and more throughout the dinner where it was becoming very obvious on how rude he was and in what seemed like a very upset mood. He seemed to be rushing to get us out as dinner progressed and would pick up plates dropping the forks spoons onto the table. They dropped not from him accidentally dropping it, but because the way he grabbed it was aggressive. While he was grabbing the plates he would get really close to my arm beyond personal space. Honestly it wasn't the most amazing meal I have ever had. Our group overall enjoyed their meals, but the bolognese tasted like it was from a can. With the Italian dude on the front. You know, the chef... So we asked for something different, got the pasta in cream sauce which was absolutely amazing. Other dishes ordered by our party were also very tasty, served piping hot and as expected. Prices are moderate, not outrageous, but not cheap either. Wine list is decent, again not page upon page, but a fair variety, and not incredibly overpriced. Would consider coming here again next time we are in the area.

This restaurant used to be one of my favorites, but it has quickly become a place I dread ordering from. I still order occasionally because their gnocchi and focaccia are excellent, but even the quality of the gnocchi has begun to decline. The service is mediocre, and the website doesn't even provide an accurate menu for the Addison location, which is frustrating. Once I find another restaurant that serves good gnocchi, I probably won't come back. It's disappointing because they have so much potential, but the inconsistency in service and food quality has soured my experience.
We celebrated our Dad's birthday here and it was perfect! Service was excellent, the menu creative, ambience was perfect. There were 12 in our party and each of us had something different.....traditional raviolis, shrimp scampi, sea bass, chicken fettuccini, filet, and the seafood combo all were AMAZING and creative dishes. The bread (focaccia) was excellent and the various salads were very tasty. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening!
Ferrari Italian Villa in Addison has new owners, my husband and I really enjoyed our dinner and had a good time!. We had the filet medallions and sea bass, and both great!, the fresh bread with marinara sauce was outstanding. This was our second time here, Randy one of the new owners took good care of us. We will be back soon and recommend this place to our friends.
