Decided to give another Mexican restaurant a try. I 've eaten authentic Mexican food my entire life and have cooked it for most of my adult life. This doesn 't come close to authentic, but Americanized Mexican food. I 'm not sure what has happened to this place over the last few months but it went from being our favorite go-to to NEVER again! I gave the benefit of the doubt after my last order was wrong so we ordered again today and it 's like they don 't even read the customer 's comments/preferences any more. We're here for the first and last week. Guacamole was delicious, but I had to ask for additional lime and salt to add taste. Then I got my meal... disgusting. I couldn't find out what the problem was and found it was the red sauce. I told the waiter that the sauce was bad and very bitter. He went back and got a small bowl for me to try. He did not taste it, brought it back to the kitchen and said the cook (I hesitate to use the word cook). He came back and said they forgot to add sugar. Are you kidding? Wheelchair accessible. Our waiter was amaaazing. Service was quick and our waiter gave us great suggestions on which items to order. There was a special on the house margheritas. We had several dishes and free nachos with salsa for 2 and it cost less than $40 including tip. The food was served so quickly and looked identical to the pics on the menu. We enjoyed dining on the patio. There is not much of a view but it was perfect weather. Highly recommend.

The best Mexican food I found in the Southeast. Her table side guacamole is fantastic, her salsa is phenomenal, and her Mocajete plate is one of the best things I've ever eaten. Their margaritas are also delicious, and they have many taste options. There are many seats, including outdoors. We eat here often and are never disappointed. I cannot recommend Festejos enough!
Festejos has been a long-time favorite. Authentic and a great staff, I recommend it over trendy Mezcalito down the way. You are more likely to get great service and have an enjoyable experience here. We recommend the fajitas or tampequeño steak!
Food is always excellent and fresh!! The staff is always smiling and very warm and welcoming I love to come here. I usually get out, but the experience is just as brilliant when I dive.
