Finbars Italian Kitchen

Countless times I have passed by Finbar's on my way to Pavilions. Finally had my husband with me to try it out! Only disappointment is we waited so long to go there! What we have been missing for too many years and meals! Family owned and run by a local Seal Beach Family, truly Mom Pop establishment! Service was outstanding! Our server Diane needs cloning! Daily (including weekends! they offer lunchtime specials at great prices! I would even say lost leaders so reasonable? Pasta specials (half-size dinner portion yet more than enough for one include salad or soup for $13.95. I ordered spaghetti and meatball {one ginormous , husband ordered lasagna, and we ordered a Neapolitan Pizza with the salad to go. We also took a slice of inhouse Pumpkin Cheesecake to go, far too full to even think about eating with lunch! Inside is very nice with linen napkins and tablecloths. Lots of comfortable booths. Nice size bar (full bar! with tvs for sports viewing. From the outside (strip mall next to Pavilion's . doesn't look large or like much. I was expecting a pizza joint! Nicely surprised. Nice decor and very chill atmosphere. I could have sat there for hours! Parking is plentiful! Nothing better than going out to eat without a fight for parking! Now for the food! Bread comes to the table warm with butter and olive oil balsamic. Bread has such a crunchy crust. OMG even my husband that reframes from bread was all over it! Caesar salad had lots of Parmesan cheese and a great dressing. Both pasta dishes were winners. Meatball very flavorful but not spicy, definitely would please a crowd. Pizza, great crust and nice but not overpowering garlic flavor. 10 pizza great size for the price. The server told us during Happy Hour only $6 and same size! Kid's menu, same size! Thank you Finbar for such a great meal and kudos to Diane for her wonderful service! We will be back again very soon!

The food is fabulous and the service is great. Diane is our favorite but they are all very friendly and knowledgeable!! The manager is great too... I had Chicken Pepperinata and it was incredible. The only issue we have when we come here is the tall blond thin hostess. She never smiles and is dismissive if you ask a question. Tonight when we were walking up she shut the door in front of us. It doesn't stop us from coming but maybe try a smile once in awhile.

Whole family of 10 people want month ago. The food and service was so good that we had to go back. Tonight I took my mom for hee birthday. Love the seafood pasta and chicken wings. Great service too. It gets very busy here when dinner time comes.
