The Hangout Restaurant Beach Bar

Had an amazing experience! Kale, I think was his name went above and beyond and was extremely nice when he delivered our food. He made sure we weren't missing anything and if there was something else we needed. Both times he came to our table. The food was really good as well. My daughter really enjoyed the spaghetti and the apple slices. The fries were delicious! Brisket was tender and the sliders were just great. Fish sticks were great as well. Had a good texture to them. Not over greasy. Our server was excellent as well. The prices seem to be a bit off for what we got but it's ok. Definitely coming back.

Stopped at the Hangout this morning after a beach cleanup. Was a little busy so we decided to sit at the bar which was full service. We opted for breakfast and breakfast cocktails. We got the breakfast tacos and a breakfast burrito. Both were quite tasty and very filling. The breakfast cocktails were also quite tasty. I recommend their house made guava juice. The staff was super friendly and the facility is nice and clean. It's a beachfront spot so parking is tight or for but worth it.

The Hangout is a fantastic restaurant! The food was delicious and well crafted. Service was a bit slow but besides that everything was wonderful. Mahi Mahi tacos were cooked to perfection and the pineapple pico de Gallo was a wonderful sweet treat to be paired with it. If you like spicy things, order the Calamari with the spicy aioli sauce, a masterful blend of flavor and heat.

Nice little find while driving through old town seal beach. We had Mai tais and the drunk triple onion burger medium with the garlic Parmesan fries. The drinks were yummy and they definitely hit the spot. The burger was cooked well instead of medium and was missing the onion ring but it was still pretty tasty and the fries were delish! Dining here was a fantastic experience. For an appetizer, I enjoyed the mac and cheese, and for the main course, I had the steak. I highly recommend this place. We were able to sit outside since we brought our dogs along, and the waitress was exceptionally friendly, even showing kindness to our pets. Overall, it was a wonderful visit!

The food was fantastic, and the staff were wonderful. My mom and I sat at the bar to celebrate my graduation, and Sarah (or Sara) was exceptional. We tried the fish tacos and the fish sandwich, both of which were delicious. The location is also perfect!

The proximity to the ocean is amazing. We could see the ocean while eating lunch. I had the fish and chicken tacos with were very favorable. If I am ever back in seal Beach I will definitely give them another visit.

This is a fantastic spot for breakfast! The staff is incredibly friendly, and the prices are excellent. Everything was wonderful, and my grandmother absolutely loves the waffles!

Opt for the strawberry waffle instead of the burrito. The coffee was excellent. However, the view is not oceanfront.
