Unfortunately, my wife and I chose to eat dinner at Finkle Street Tap & Grill the night the computer system failed. While it shouldn't have had an effect on it, the food and service crashed as well.We ordered the Jerk Chicken Tacos as an appetizer, a Hawaiian pizza and slow-cooked ribs as mains. After an incredibly long wait, all 3 items were brought to the table at the same time. The chicken in the tacos was so over-cooked that I thought that I was eating spicy cardboard. We sent it back. The pizza and ribs were good but nothing special. My wife has asked for vegetables and apple coleslaw instead of french fires. They forgot the coleslaw. There are many gluten-free options at this restaurant, although they may not be specifically tailored for those with celiac disease. For example, a pizza labeled as gluten-free still needed items to be removed when I mentioned I had celiac disease because they couldn't confirm its gluten-free status. The server was friendly and accommodating, however. The pizza crust was decent, not the greatest but not the worst either. If I returned to the area, I would be willing to try one of their other dishes. Overall, it is worth a visit.
We went there with friends for dinner. It was the weekend and crowded. It was so loud you couldn't carry on a conversation. Our meal was not great and when I complained they took some off the bill and asked me to let them know when I came back. I didn't go back. There are many other good restaurants in Woodstock. I have heard from others and they find it ok.
There are many gluten-friendly choices on the menu, though not every item can be made safe for those with celiac disease. However, the staff is well-informed about the risks of cross-contamination and take precautions. Unfortunately, they do not have a separate fryer. Gluten-free pizzas are cooked in a separate oven to avoid contact with regular pizzas.
