I have been to many 'high end ' restaurants in Stratford, and have been disappointed in the food and service. In little Woodstock, we found a gem. First impression very tasteful decor. Tables were far enough apart so the diners didn 't feel crowded. Very good service. When they realized it was our anniversary, they brought us a complimentary glass of champagne. Lovely. Service was good, food was excellent. I can 't state that enough. The food was exceptionally good, and enough that I didn 't have room for dessert (the only downfall . We celebrated our birthdays with our daughter, son-in-law and grandkids this evening at sixthirtynine. To say that the food is excellent would be an understatement. The beet salad appetizer was amazing and my crusted trout entree with peanut sauce was out of this world. The staff are very attentive and presentation is everything! Truly a memorable dining experience.

After living in Woodstock for three years, we finally made it to SixThirtyNine, and they didn't disappoint! The food was outstanding, the service was great, and we were even greeted by the head chef! I highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a truly special dining experience.

My wife and I went to this restaurant last night for dinner. Having traveled from one coast of Canada to the other, I must say that the overall experience was top-notch and among the best I have ever had. The atmosphere, service, and food were all amazing. We will definitely be coming back.

Our first look at the new menu. More options than previously. We tried the beef tartar and the five brothers cheese balls and beets. Very nice, nicer than my butchering the app names. Stuffed pasta and trout for the mains and dinner was officially fantastic!
