Although the food and service at this restaurant are usually amazing, my recent experience was disappointing. I ordered a Fiore Salad, which was supposed to have avocados, but they were missing from my meal. When I informed the server, she mentioned they were out of avocados but did not communicate this when I placed my order. She did take 10% off the check as compensation, but then gave us the check while we were still eating and did not return to ask if we wanted more bread, another drink, or dessert. I expect a better experience when spending $80 on a meal. Serving may be a difficult job, but if you cannot provide great customer service, perhaps consider a different career. I do not expec...
Foote II is situated in a picturesque area of downtown Middletown. The menu offers a wide variety of options, including the must-try garlic knots served at each table. They are delicious and warm. I have never had a disappointing dish here and particularly enjoyed the chicken parmesan. The restaurant excels in serving Italian cuisine the authentic way. The outdoor seating in the summer is stunning, with the front of the restaurant open to give diners an indoor-outdoor experience. It is a fantastic place with delicious food and a wonderful staff.
My daughter was upset that I called to complain. Later, she became very ill, experiencing severe pain and vomiting. She believed she had food poisoning and apologized to me for calling the restaurant. The dish I had ordered used to be one of my favorites, but I ended up throwing it away. I spent Mother's Day without dinner, staying up all night taking care of my sick daughter. I will never order from this restaurant again and will not recommend their food to anyone!
