The view from the restaurant is magnificent, the staff is engaging and helpful, the dishes looked good, and I like the crème brûlée. Now coming to the details: bruschetta was ok, and my main course, gnocchi, was disappointing. The ingredients of the bruschetta tasted all dated, not fresh at all and not crunchy, for the bread, when it's supposed to be. The gnocchi pieces were just swimming in my plate, watery and blend. Also, the portion of it was small. As you may expect the prices are high. The place is usually crowded; and the more crowded it gets, the slower gets the service. So if you are going there starving, keep that in mind.

I've been there a few times and I've never been disappointed. The interior is cozy, with spectacular views of the Rhine. The terrace is also very nice for summer days. Very friendly and well-qualified employees who always give good and honest recommendations. The food is amazing both in terms of taste and presentation. One of the best restaurants in Basel for Italian and Mediterranean cuisine. Would definitely recommend!

They were there several times, absolutely love the food and the view. Risotto never disappoints me. And Lasagne is great! It's always full in peak times. The service is quite good, usually, except once that male waiters are not busy at all during the one hour service (lunch time, not so busy.)

Food was very tasty. Staff were not attentive. We would have drank a lot more with our meal if they had been so they missed out on money from us. Antipasti board was amazing.

beautiful place right next to the river. beautiful staff who are super helpful and friendly. delicious food, with a nice price range on the menu recommend.
