Firefly - Reservar una mesa

I feel bad sticking a nail in this restaurant's coffin but...Went here on a Saturday night at prime time and it was basically empty. It never filled up. It's a very attractive space but it felt sad. Waiter was fine but seemed to have a little attitude. Seemed to to want to rush us along even though no one was there. Food was ok. Not bad. But the prices are more in line with a NYC restaurant so the food wasn't good enough to justify that. I've wanted to try this place for a long time based on the look of of it and the menu. I'm disappointed it was not what I hoped. Don't expect it to stick around and I won't be back.

We sat outside in the back terrace on a beautiful summer morning. It was a beautiful place to have brunch. But the food was very expensive for what we have. I ordered the chopped chicken salad. $16) It had a lot of delicious chicken on it, but very few other ingredients beside a ton of salad. I also have an iced tea. $3) No bread basket or other food was served on the side. Overall, it was a lack of Luster meal for the price. Maybe go back and try another entrée. I liked to sit outside to try again. It is also one of the few outdoor restaurants that is not directly on a busy street. Good.

Read more about Firefly Kitchen a few years ago and wanted to try. That was our first visit. We were lucky to sit outside in their small private terrace. Food and service were excellent. We just went through the restaurant interior so I can't comment on it.

The service started great and then slowed down dramatically. It took 20 minutes from the time the waiter left the check to pick up my credit card. Luckily we were not in a hurry.

Every time we go here, the food and service is always excellent. Tonight we dined on the back terrace, which was very pleasant because it is away from the road.
