This was my 1st time ever to firehouse subs but I had high expectations because of the reputation that I have heard about. I ordered the Cajun chicken sandwich with chips and a drink. I was not disappointed. The sandwich had just the right amount of seasoning and toppings and was delicious. So much better than Jimmy John's! The sweet tea was awesome! The store was clean and well lit. The service was fast and friendly. I will be back!
They take forever to make it. I ordered online (which takes 30 minutes to make) and it took 20 minutes to get it because they claimed it did not go through as claimed someone took my order! I would have told them that they forgot, but already paid online. I just get a lunch and they make me too late every time.
I have found this place to be a favorite for their New York Steamer sub! Originally from New England, I love pastrami and corned beef! I get mine with extra cheese. It's like a small taste of my youth and I like that every purchase helps raise funds and equipment for emergency personnel.
