After taking the bag to my car, I decided to check the food before heading home. To my dismay, my sandwich was made incorrectly. When I returned to the counter, the employees acted as if it was no big deal. They issued a refund but didn’t offer to remake the sandwich or apologize at all.
We live just seven minutes away, and by the time we got home, the boxes were even greasier than the bag had been! We didn’t order anything that should have been this greasy. Overall, the food was unsatisfactory, the service was poor, and there was nothing positive about my experience. I honestly felt a bit embarrassed for the establishment.
I had the worst experience at this sandwich shop! The three young staff members behind the counter were slow and unprofessional. We didn't even receive the side that was supposed to come with our sandwich. We waited ten minutes for our food, and there was no line at all. To make matters worse, my large sandwich was cut incorrectly—only one-third of it was sliced haphazardly. And to top it off, I found a long blonde hair in my meal, presumably from one of the crew. We definitely won't be returning.
Love love love, Firehouse subs. So sad they closed down the only one that was actually kind of close to us. We live in west covina and would live if one opened up near us. We would be regulars lol. Dangerous but true. We make the drive out to this one when we can but would love to have one closer to us. No other sandwich chain does sandwiches like Firehouse. Wife isn't a fan of sandwiches like me but she loves firehouse.
Arrived before 9 pm—the posted closing time. The blue and red neon “OPEN”sign was on.When I went inside I was greeted with:“We’re closed. We took our last order.”Why don’t you turn off the sign and change the hours on the window and online?(We checked both.)So, we went to The Habit Grill next door.

Best sandwich place around! So good, we ordered one round of sandwiches, then after we finished we order more to go. Not to mention, the employees are sweet. Thanks for the help Amy!
I really love the sandwich place it’s your it’s original it’s different than all the others service is a lot better the quality of the food is excellent
Place was clean, had the meatball it was very good, the taste was perfect, good value for the money
