I ordered the brisket sandwich and found it to be very fatty and slimy. I don't blame the employees; it's just not a good sandwich, especially for a $17 medium sub. The service seemed off—aside from the two staff members making sandwiches, the three others around them appeared disengaged and lacked direction. This was evident when the soda machine wasn't functioning properly and there were people waiting to order. I've enjoyed this sandwich in the past, but I won't be ordering it again, nor will I return to this location.
Reviewing an EZCATER order : Very disappointed in our order. 1 STAR was given only to get the review posted. 45 minutes early so we had to figure out what to do with sandwiches to keep them fresh until the meeting time. The order was not correct, and the special instructions were not followed. Missing an Iced tea and the iced tea that was delivered was hot. The restaurant was less than helpful when EZCATER called them and only had excuses and no solutions for their own errors.
On July 3, 2023, at 7250 Rivers Avenue, N. Charleston, I had purchased a medium corned beef sandwich on wheat, no mayo. Not only did the sandwich not have mayo, there was no mustard on it. The corned beef was tough and fatty. I threw it in the garbage. Last time buying a sandwich from Firehouse.
The app doesn't work so you can't order ahead. Went to this location on my lunch break and was turned away because the whole team (6 people) was working on a platter order which would take 30 minutes before I could receive my meal. That is unacceptable and I will not return!

This restaurant is one of my favorite sub shops in the area. I must say that the staff treats customers with great respect and is incredibly friendly. I will definitely keep returning!
The steak and cheese sub was good I had a small which was very small but good. The workers was working on the sandwich as I was thinking lol. The place was clean and very calm.
It was my first visit, and I found the food to be quite disappointing.
I love firehouse subs but this location does not have good service.
