I ordered takeout from here on Friday night via Grubhub. I've never had them before, and I like that there's an option to get a small sub that's around 3 4inches. I ended up doing the small subs on 4 different specialty subs they had, so I was able to have a sample and see which one I like more for future reference. Though it was probably a pain for the sandwich builder. I ended up trying their spicy Cajun chicken, firehouse meatball, Italian, and the turkey bacon ranch. I did wheat bread, and I also removed mustard from all 4 sandwiches it normally comes with the sandwich. I had a terrible experience at Firehouse. The young employee didn't accept my T-Mobile discount, which was frustrating. It was my first time visiting, and since there's no location near my home, I drove 22 miles because it's close to Midway Airport. I was really disappointed and no longer have any interest in returning. You've lost a potential customer, especially considering I have military friends and colleagues who could have been regular patrons.
I waited for 20 minutes with just one person ahead of me in line, while someone else on the phone was being helped. It seemed like they prioritized the phone order over the customers in the restaurant. After more than 20 minutes of waiting, I realized the place was understaffed. I had eaten there before, and the food wasn't bad, but the service is terrible. Nobody wants to wait 30 minutes just to place an order.
Do not order online because your food will not be ready when you arrive. The staff really need to be retrained on communication and understanding what the customer wants. It took 30min from when I arrived from ordering online for the crew to mix up thesandwich request. Also being able to read the ticket so that the sandwich will made correctly. Reserva una mesa ahora
Horrible. Little young guy Wouldn't let me use my Tmobile discount! Had never been to Firehouse. Was gonna try it for the first time. None near my house. Drove 22 miles because there's one not too far from Midway airport. Very dissapointed. No longer interested in going there. You lost me firehouse plus all my co-workers and military friends.
