Fireside Bistro

I decided to write this review after comparing my experience here with the disappointment of having Mother's Day brunch at the Hotel Sask a few blocks away. Fireside Bistro's meals were excellent, and they were all fairly priced with a wide selection of large, tasty dishes at $15 each. I had one of the skillets, my wife had a frittata, and my in-laws each had a different variety of the french toast. All were excellent, the service was friendly, and the mimosas were largish and fairly priced. Although we frequent Fireside for evening meals we hadn't realized how good their Sunday brunch is, so we will be back again soon.

Had the Beef Dip....dip was like water...absolutely no flavor! Caesar salad was wilted and when asked for more parmesan was told I would have to pay extra. Spoke to the owner. He was very rude and said he had never had any complaints. Obviously, he hadn't checked out the reviews. Will never go back!

Met a friend for lunch. It was nice to eat in a place where it was quiet enough to have a real conversation. The food is very tasty, but a little on the expensive side. Friendly staff and service was quick. Parking on the street was easy to find. Would come again.

I came here with some friends and I decided to try the rib steak. It was a very nice cut of meat and came covered in butter. Great meal. I also sampled the chicken dish and it was also good. Neat location in Regina, worth trying out!

Prime rib sandwich and fries. Sandwich is very salty. Au jus helps but is messy. Sand is huge and lots of fries. Avg
