I noted this place was open till 8PM so arrived just after 7.30 and all 3 of the staff were miserable. No hello or welcome and not one smile between them. One of the women asked abruptly will you be wanting fish . I said yes and she proceeded to batter a fish and throw it in the fryer. It felt like I had asked her go and clean the toilets, not serve a decent and respectful customer a piece of fish. I hadn 't even been asked what sort of fish I would like. I waited another ten minutes and the other woman in there just said what do you want then? , in a manner that was again abrupt and impolite, as though they just wanted to go home and I was just an inconvenience. Fish n chips from my local chippy for the last time! Absolutely awful. How can they serve up such **** and charge you a small fortune. The worst chips I have ever had. Fish wasn’t much better but that’s us done. Never again will I go in here when the chippy in stubbins is open! Do yourself a favour and compare with stubbins chippy… it’s chalk n cheese my friends.

This chippy is consistently excellent. Food is terrific and the service is always great (lovely people and nothing is too much trouble . Popped in on my way home from a long hike last night for pudding, chips, peas and gravy. Delicious! My dog was also happy with a sausage for his tea. Thank you : Keep doing what you're doing guys.

I'm not sure if this was a mistake, but this pie - if you can even call it that - consisted of two small bites of crust and cheese. It was the smallest portion I've ever had, even coming from a chippy. I understand times are tough, but this was just too much. Reserva una mesa ahora

Beautifully freshly fried fish, homemade steak pudding, homemade cheese pie, freshly fried scampi. All with beautifully made chips. Lads behind the counter were nice and friendly. So much better than the greasy options closer to home. Loved it.

This restaurant serves the best fish I have ever had! The dish was fantastic. I ordered fish and chips with mushy peas and curry. The portion size was large and it was great value for the price. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience.

Catered for 60+ people for our wedding, and it was AMAZING, the pies were huge, gravy pies and curry Sause was gorgeous and it came on time all hot... organised well and the staff are FAB! 100% using them to supply your event ;

This restaurant likely offers the best seafood around. The staff is fantastic and there is a great variety of pies, desserts, and side dishes. Definitely worth a visit.

Fast and huge portions, the fish is magic and so is the Irish curry and sausage, chips are excellent.
