Visited the restaurant/takeaway at circa 3.00pm 26th June 2023. My local chip shop for more years that I can remember. I asked the operative who served me for battered sausage and chips. As I saw a new flyer on the counter I asked him if he was a new owner/staff member he said no. I subsequent paid for my order and as I live 3 minutes up the road got home chips and sausage were stone cold wrinkled as they had been there for ages/weekend etc I would advise people to boycott this establishment. Good luck gigs chip shop on Whitfield Street far better but more expensive
Walked in and knew instantly this wasn't a place I wanted to eat. It's filthly dirty which is remarkable as the staff member was sat down talking. I had to wait 5 minutes whilst they cooked chips ample enough time for the dread to set in at the thought of eating something from here. Cancelled the order and walked out empty handed.
Food as always been good, ordering since well before covid however we called and ordered food as well always do. When we go to the restaurant 15 mins after the call to find out they don't have enough fish to complete our order(3 out of 4 fish we ordered) so 1 person couldn't have fish as planned form a fish a chip shop.
