Best burger around… yes, it is a seafood focused restaurant. Still, burger is cooked to perfection with a toasty bun and all the fixins. I like to add bacon, cheese, avocado and some grilled jalapeños….amazing. Fries are well seasoned and have a great crispy exterior. Just get it! Gumbo is as good as any I have had in Cajun country. This place knows how to make a good roux, taken to the edge of smoke with that old penny coloration. A beautiful thing. I absolutely adore Fish City Grill. A friend from Mansfield who had moved away was visiting the area and wanted to meet us at our favorite fish restaurant for her birthday celebration. My wife and I were thrilled to spend time with our dear friend and enjoy a meal together. When we arrived, our friend was already there. I decided to try the Patron Margarita from the drink menu and also ordered the Fried Green Tomatoes, a featured appetizer of the day. As we caught up with our friend, our drinks and appetizers were served and everything was fantastic. I had a disappointing experience at Fish City Grill in the Lake Highlands area of Dallas, so I was hesitant to visit another location. However, I decided to give the Mansfield location a try and was pleasantly surprised. The clam chowder was delicious and probably the best I've had in the DFW area. The calamari was fresh and the sweet chili sauce added a nice kick. My fried catfish and shrimp were perfectly cooked, not overbreaded, and tasted hot and fresh. The server was attentive and the restaurant had a comfortable, modern seafood decor. I will definitely be returning to this Fish City Grill.

I always enjoy dining at this restaurant. I typically dislike seafood because of the fishy taste, but the barramundi here tastes more like meat without any fishy flavor. It is definitely worth the trip. I deducted a star because they were out of char-grilled oysters, but they made up for it by serving us half grilled and half slightly grilled oysters. The parmesan crusted Ecuadorian swordfish we ordered on 4/22/22 was too fishy for my wife, who usually enjoys fish, so they removed it from our bill. Wow. What a hidden gem. Everything was followed by sounds of satisfaction with each bite. Nice ambiance. Great service and great tasting food. The gumbo. The beans and rice. Just by themselves were a hit. The oyster nachos. The shrimp PO boy. The fish tacos all were enthusiastically endorsed. The **** mary was pretty tasty as well. Definitely coming back . lots of options to explore.

My wife and I had a date night at a nice restaurant. Our server, Micah, was friendly and courteous. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped us with our food choices. The food was delicious and we will definitely be returning to try more items from the menu.

This food is really good. From menu favorites to chalkboard chef specials you are sure to find something that’ll hit the spot. They have a full bar and patio seating available. A great date night dinner option.
