We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. We were visiting from out of town and chose to dine here based on a recommendation from a family friend. They don't take reservations, but we were seated promptly on a Saturday night. Colin, the Manager, greeted us with warmth and his food descriptions were spot on. The menu consists of 5 appetizers, 5 entrees, and 5 wine selections that change seasonally. We started with delicious chicken quesadillas and then chose the burger and the fish special of the day. I absolutely love Sunday brunch, and 5 has become my favorite spot for it. The beignets are indescribable. The crab cake Benedict with spinach salad was flawless. The poached eggs were like pudding, and the crab cakes were heavenly with perfectly balanced ingredients. Without a doubt, the best I've ever had (and I come from a seafood family background and married into a wholesale seafood company, so I know good seafood). The atmosphere is great, with fabulous decor. The service from our waitress was top-notch and kind. This is a fantastic downtown spot that you should never miss out on.

Yesterday, we had lunch at the restaurant and despite the 1065 festival taking place, we were promptly seated and received our food quickly. We all decided to order the cheeseburger as it was highly recommended, and it certainly lived up to the hype! The burgers were delicious, especially with the bacon relish on top that added a nice kick. The portions were generous and the shoestring fries were tasty. The atmosphere was pleasant and our waiter was attentive, even though the restaurant was busy. We definitely plan on returning in the future!

Great friendly service at reasonable prices. Yours truly had a fantastic pork chop that was cooked to perfection with baked macaroni and cheese. Very juicy pork chop and tasty mac and cheese. Lady friend had catch of day (trigger fish) topped with a blackberry compost on top of a mixture of mashed potatoes, Italian squash, and corn. The fish was thick and properly crusted. Highly recommend.

Fantastic service, excellent cocktails and even a couple of IPAs. The restaurant is also absolutely beautiful. Hard woods, nice booths and chandeliers throughout. I had a small appetizer and sat outdoors because it was such a lovely day. Great people watching spot on the sidewalk. Pay a visit it's an unexpected gem. Say hi to Hannah she is the BEST server!!

I absolutely love the chicken and waffles at this restaurant! The chicken is perfectly seasoned and cooked with care. The mimosas are also delicious. The live band on Sundays creates a fantastic atmosphere. The $5 hamburger and fries special on Wednesdays is also a highlight.

What a fun place to eat! The atmosphere is amazing and if your like me and struggle with too many choices on a menu this is def a place you should try. Great options and the food was amazing. They also have **** mary bar which was super fun. Wonderful experience!

Very nice atmosphere! I like the little special menu. Delicious food and great cocktails. We got steak and a burger and both were great with delicious side salads. Our waitress Hanna was very sweet and welcoming.

five is my favorite place in the city of mobile. the atmosphere is amazing and the food and drinks are always great. megan is the best bartender in all.
