Delicious Burgers, but Cold Fries
I recently visited Five Guys in Gambrills, MD, and enjoyed their classic cheeseburger along with a side of little fries. Overall, my experience was pleasant, but there was one small letdown.
Let’s start with the highlight: the cheeseburger. The patty was juicy and cooked perfectly, featuring a delightful char-grilled flavor that left me wanting more. The toppings were fresh and abundant, adding an extra burst of flavor to every bite. The bun was soft yet sturdy enough to hold everything together. It was truly a mouthwatering treat!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would for the service alone. I went here with my mom recently and the original person taking my order was nice and friendly. He had to call his manager over and when he did, his manager was extremely rude for no reason at all. He re-rang our orders, got them wrong, and when we asked about it when the food came out later, he was extremely rude and told us we would have to repay for the food. We asked for a refund so we could eat elsewhere and he only wanted to give us a partial refund even though no food was consumed. When asking for the full amount back, he pulled out money from his pocket and threw it at us and said he was the manager so good luck to me...
This was the worst meal I?ve tasted from Five Guys. I went in last night (obviously Fridays can be busy), and while the food was served quickly, it was absolutely disgusting. When I got home, my husband opened up his grilled cheese to find it burned to acrisp on the outside, while all three burgers I purchased for my family were soggy, the meat was chewy, and cold. The strawberryshake I ordered was barely 3/4 full, lacking flavor. All of the food was horrendous. I?m not sure what was going on because weusually have zero issues here. So unfortunate.
I visit this location about once a month for my kids, because yes...it is generally more expensive than other burger joints. It's always clean inside, and the wait is never long whether I order there or online. Hands down the best fries...even the cajunfries, delicious! My kids love the burgers. To me, the burgers are tasteless. No salt or pepper. Maybe its just a matter ofasking for it, but I've had more flavorful burgers at other Five Guys locations.

They undercook the fries. Just my opinion but the other 5 guys near me has way better fries. Even after I complained... Still undercooked. Nice staff. Great burgers.
Always consistent quality burgers. The fries are always plentiful, but don’t expect them to be crisp by the time you get them home.
The customer service here is AMAZING. Always have hot food and is one of the few places I would consider eating inside comfortably.
The food is always fine, but no matter how soon we order it's never ready on time. Isn't gonna stop me from going tho???????????

First timers and we are sold! Real burgers, real potato fries, great milkshake, great staff... all around excellence!
Great top-tier burgers. I've never had a problem here except with the price tag. But you get what you pay for.
