Nando's Peri-peri - Reserva de mesa

I received part of my meal upfront, but was told the fries would take longer and be brought out later. I finished my food after about 15 minutes, then waited another 15 minutes and ultimately decided to leave when it became clear that my fries weren't coming. I noticed multiple people who sat down after me were receiving their orders with fries. While the garlic bread was good, my chicken was overcooked. The server was clearly overwhelmed; she was the only one working and I saw her raise her voice at the kitchen staff more than once due to the delays. Overall, my experience was neither enjoyable nor satisfactory. I was disappointed, especially since I usually like the Nando's franchise, but...

Overall, the food was quite good. However, the 12 wings I ordered didn’t come with the sauce I expected (this might have been my mistake), and the wings were a bit too charred for my taste. I think I’ll stick with regular chicken or chicken sandwiches in the future. The fries were tasty, and I also ordered a 1oz scoop of hummus to go with them. The turmeric cauliflower was delicious and served hot; I would definitely order that again. The Naughty Natas was also very good—better than what I’ve had in the past, which probably indicates they were a fresh batch.

Hands down to the manager in charge today, correct me if wrong but his name is Colin, my girlfriend and I got 3 whole chickens to go, he went about and beyond to make us feel comfortable about our order. I ordered my usual chicken breast pita today and was very disappointed. The chicken was thighs, not breast meat. It wasn’t cut.
