Happened upon this place when I was starving having never heard of it. Took a look at the menu and saw the burgers were typically priced for what u get at a pub... Ordered some 'small ' fries and a drink with my bacon cheeseburger.<br/ <br/ I saw a few ppl munching on peanuts at the tables then discovered the burlap bags of peanuts on the counter with little help urself trays. So I did! Must have polished off quite a few peanuts by the time my order was up.<br/ <br/ I grab my bag from the counter (quite heavy! and look inside to see the bag COMPLETELY full of spicy fries! I literally had to dig through the fries to get my burger (with the works on it . Talk about fully loaded juicy burger! I...

Average. We've tried Five Guys several times. The burgers are ok, but nothing special. The best comparison would be the type of burger one could get from a chip truck.<br/ <br/ The French fries were the surprising part. During our first visit, we were cautioned (by the cashier) about ordering two fries....she was 100% right. and that honesty hasn't been forgotten.There were more than enough fries for two. Since then, we've noticed that the volume of fries has gradually been scaled back on subsequent visits...no problem with that. <br/ <br/ Overall, the food has been consistent, and served in a clean, modern restaurant. The staff were friendly. <br/ <br/ A decent place for a quick lunch. 7/10

Earlier this month, I visited clients in Barrhaven for my business. After meeting with a client, I always stop for a meal before heading home. Five Guys Burgers and Fries at 1181 Greenbank Road in Ottawa is conveniently located near OC Transpo's Strandherd Transitway station and easily accessible from Greenbank Road. It's a great spot for me to transfer from nearby streets to Ottawa's transit system before heading home.

A new branch of this restaurant recently opened in Sudbury, but we had not yet tried it. While visiting Ottawa and craving a burger, we stumbled upon this restaurant. It turned out to be one of the best burgers I've ever had. The bacon was perfectly crispy and added a fantastic texture to the burger. We will definitely be visiting the Sudbury location soon. Good burgers...but slow down on the fries there Sparky!!!. First time there. Service was quick exactly what I wanted.<br/ <br/ The only surprise I got was that they gave our two orders with fries.....then dumped a heap of more friex in the bag, covering everything is a salty, oily mess.<br/ <br/ If I was hungover from a night of drinking I wouldn't have an issue.

Awesome burger. I went to a Five Guys in Virginia and loved their burgers. Went to the one in Barhaven tonight and was satisfied again. Lots of tasty fries. Also free peanuts.

Although pretty pricey, they make a great burger. The servings of fries are huge we get a small for 3 of us (including a 16 year old male which should say something!

Very good hamburgers but quite expensive ... worth a try . The fries are very good and servings are huge.
