After having a bad encounter with terrible service at the bar on the Saturday night of our week long stay, we casually told another staff member, Brandon, on the Monday night about our poor experience. He was incredibly apologetic, got the manager to speak with us, (who apologised profusely), and both of whom went out of their way to make it up to us. Even going so far as to leaving a beautiful surprise in our hotel room, with a card and heartfelt apology on behalf of the bar. Their service and apology was enough, but they went above and beyond. Thanks to them, we would be more than happy to come back. Oh, and the cocktails were AMAZING!
All my friends told me that I had to visit the fix bar when visiting the Gold Coast. So we went out of our way to go there on a Sunday night just before Christmas, I was so excited to try a cocktail, but when we got there at 7pm they were closed. There were people approaching the bar and asking for drinks but the bar man said no...closed. I was annoyed.It was a special trip just to go to this bar. I'll be going to Gold Coast again in July so I'll give this place one last try.
This used to be the only cool lounge bar with a great dj in the GC so we had planned my husband's 40th birthday here. We ended up being so disappointed to discover the fun police had taken over and there was no longer a dj or the same funky atmosphere. Instead there is now a horrible karaoke type of singer and a drab hotel bar with just ok cocktails. On the hunt for a replacement now and I suggest you do the same. Please bring the old place back!!
It was Raining as we walked up the Avenue on a Saturday Night we saw the Sign for the Fix bar and decided to give it a go so up we went , Atmosphere was nil, drink prices were substantial, service was not what you thought you would get from a Hilton Bar ,we had one drink and went back out into the rain to find a proper Bar where your custom is valued a little bit .

My boyfriend and I went here during our stay at the hilton. We were welcomed by lovely staff here. They helped us to find cocktails to suit our taste pallette. They even created new drinks to suit us like; mango passionfruit martinis yum!! Would definitely come back here :) Much love to Shenequa!
We had a great time at Fix the other night. A group of us were staying at The Hilton for a conference and enjoyed the ambience of Fix. Good drinks, quite good pricing and a few lovely nooks for a quite catch up.
Had a great pre dinner drink here, interesting selection of specialty cocktails to choose from, very pleasant ambience and was just the ticket to start off a great evening.
We got to try different cocktails at a cheaper price.The bar itself is very nice,got to relax and have a couple of quiet drinks.

Typical hotel bar. Quite oven and cool. Cocktails were good with plenty of options including some quite different ones.
I always have so much fun here and the cocktails are amazing! Atmosphere is great and staff are always happy.
