Tried the gym shoe sub and it was amazing. Messy but tasted so good. Got the 12 and should have stuck with the regular size. Food was made fresh and fast. Small parking lot but plenty of side street parking if needed. I'll have to stop by a few moretimes to try other things I saw pictures of that looked good.
I grew up right around the corner from flips!!!! I since moved to TX and one of the biggest things I've missed is Flips!! Every time I come back to visit it's one of my first stops!!!
A fantastic neighborhood eatery with plenty of charm and welcoming staff. I visited with colleagues from work, which turns out to be the perfect way for me to experience Glen.

They have the best gyro ever.....I go there ever chance I get when I'm out in Glen ellyn.....they put so much meat on the pita bread..
We've been here since they opened up. Never had a bad sandwich. The Pastrami bottoms are worth my 20 minutes drive!! The best.
I have to be on my list every time I get to town. Some great childhood memories. The food is always brilliant.
