"Lovely cafe with an interesting menu. The staff were helpful and very quick to ensure you had everything you needed. We had the Mushroom medley with pumpkin hummus and also the Poached Pear Porridge. Both meals were excellent! Certainly worth a visit!"

Having heard of the big name "FLOUR DRUM" for a very long time, we expect lots of surprises from this homey restaurant cafe because it is apparently one of the best in the neighborhood and it is definitely not the norm. The 3 business partners, Victor, Chris, and John, often create fusion dishes by mixing Asian and Western elements and culinary methods.  The eatery is located in Newtown, which is the latest hipster district in the Inner West Sydney. There are some outdoor areas for you to enjoy the beautiful Sydney weather, or you can choose to sit indoor which is actually a cozy long dining area, perfect for big groups or hipster loners, no offence lol.  The restaurant takes thi...

Came here on a whim and peeking through the window, we were sold. You are invited through the small frontage to an array of delicious looking baked good all laid out on the coffee counter and front sil. You can opt to sit in the sunnier front of the cafe or move down into the ambiently lit area in the back. Staff are friendly and attentive and the menu looked very interesting. We ordered the sticky chai, tumeric latte, pork belly burger and duck dumplings with noodles and soup as well as brownie and cake to go. The tumeric latte($4.5) was nicely spiced but the kind of tea where you leave a little behind in the cup due to the tea sediment in the cup. The sticky chai ($5) was great on the c...

Delicious... actually that's the name of bunny pet that you can fine organically running around at the back of this cafe. I'm super excited to see this cute little creature. As for my Picollo, nothing extraordinary, however it's nice to have fresh brewed good coffee before your meal. I did ordered the BBQ duck home made dumpling, served with duck and dried porcini broth, egg noodle, bokchoy and snow pea sprout. A nice Asian influence dish, and their dumpling was plum and juicy. My friend ordered gin cure salmon with poached egg and potato hash brown. It's was delicious too. If you are cake lover, you can't miss the lamington display as you walk into the dining area. 3 chooses today, Matcha,... Reserva una mesa ahora
