Flunch Caen Herouville

I enjoyed my Flunch meal, having spent the previous evening in a nearby hotel restaurant and having an awful meal and experience we decided to try out Flunch. The concept is simple, choose your starter and dessert from the cabinets then select your main at the till point. Take your ticket to the hot food counter and watch it cook. I liked the self service veg. The menu was wide and selection of veg expansive. For €11 I had a really enjoyable meal, if I find a Flunch again I'll certainly have another meal at one

Good choice of food and you can see what you're getting. The 9.95 euro formula meal is good value except the choice of drinks has NO sugar free option, even water! The help yourself vegetable idea is great except they are very lukewarm from sitting on the counter. Need to be much hotter. Loads of children here so dining is not a quiet experience. Very good value desserts.

If only cafeteria style restaurants were like this at home. Choose your main course and add all the extras you want! The food is good clean well presented cafeteria food. If your wallet needs a night off, this is a perfect solution. Eat well for a similar price to a familiar Golden Arches. We had moules which were excellent for around six pounds including a drink.

Great value, and nice selection of food to chose from. Good quality food which the whole family enjoyed! We will visit again when back in France next year! England needs a Flunch!

Good quality, price, selection. Fantastic place for a family to eat for all of those reasons. Never disappointed with Flunch.
