Folino's Wood Fired Pizza Shelburne

However, my recent dining experience was quite disappointing. I arrived at 6:00 PM on a Monday and placed my order around 6:20. By 7:15, I went to check on my food, and they scrambled to find my order, as well as my friend's who had ordered after me. My friend's pizza came out at 7:25, and when I inquired about mine at 7:37, it took another five minutes for it to be delivered. I understand that it can get busy, but I've had full meals prepared in less time at other restaurants. My friend had nearly finished her meal by the time mine arrived. I usually dine at Folinos about eight times a year, and I’ve never experienced service this poor.

As others have noted, the pizza is out of this world. But the service is absolutely abysmal. It took over an hour for our in-house order to be prepared. I’ve never seen less efficient utilization of a pizza oven. They ran out of water and glasses; one of the other customers ultimately reloaded the water cooler and people were folding disposable plates into makeshift glasses.

Went with a large group. My order for a large pepperoni took longer than expected, but the issue I have is that it was quite burnt. Every other pizza came out fine and was delicious, but honestly mine sucked. Maybe I was the last order of the night, but for such an expensive pizza I expected much better quality for a simple pizza. Very disappointed!!!

With few other options in the area to go to, we found ourselves here a few times. Thankfully the pizza is great. Customer service was good. They also have a gluten free crust I have an intolerance not an allergy) and it was the best gluten free crust I've ever had. The regular pizza is a sourdough base, also equally delicious. The pizza is outstanding! I added prosciutto to my truffle pig pizza, and it was a fantastic enhancement. The service was a bit slow, but that's understandable with only a few staff members. It's definitely worth the wait!

Great pizza but my god I wish I had gone somewhere else. No pizza is worth this wait. You guys should go study the process at Frank Pepe in New Haven. They know how to turn out pizza on time.

Nice place to spend a summer evening at their outdoor seating area. Service is casual order at the counter , pick up your own drinks, and staff brings pizza to the table.

Pros: amazing pizza! Thin crust cooked perfectly. Free WiFi and self serve water. Cons: plan to wait 30 minutes for your order. Order ahead if you can.

Holy cow the pizza here is out of this world. This is some amazing pizza and it is absolutely worth trying!
