My partner, who is lactose intolerant, loves this restaurant because it allows him to enjoy ice cream again! The base is made with coconut milk, but honestly, you can't even tell unless you really think about it. The flavors may vary depending on the strength of other flavorings. I ordered cookies and cream, while he got sweet lavender. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but the quality is worth it, especially if you are lactose intolerant. I also tried a chocolate chip cookie, which may have been an older batch as I didn't enjoy it as much. However, I am excited to try other baked goods on my next visit!
This vegan ice cream is simply delicious. I had visited a few times before to try their cookies and sample different ice cream flavors, but I finally got a scoop the other night. It was rich and creamy, not overly sweet, and bursting with flavor. I also have nothing but praise for their baked goods. Their menu is easy to navigate with clear icons indicating allergens like nuts, gluten, and soy. I have no complaints and will definitely be returning.
The best ice cream in Boston! The scoops are well priced, I usually get the Mini because I feel like the complexity of the flavors lends itself to smaller portions. The flavors vary with the season, but they do have a few evergreens, like cookies and cream. The cakes are a bit more expensive than the scoops, but also good. Allergens are clearly listed. Oh, and it also happens to be vegan!
I eliminated dairy from my diet a few years ago, and the one thing I miss the most is ice cream. Luckily, there are many fantastic vegan and dairy-free options available today. Among them, FOMU stands out. The texture is amazing, the flavors are vibrant and creative, and it is just so delicious! I highly recommend it.

So great to have a non-dairy ice cream place in town! Everything I’ve tried here is delicious. Ice cream is served COLD and it doesn’t instantly melt, even in summer. It’s a little pricey for what it is, but I think the quality makes it worthwhile.
This place is soooooo good! I love their chocolate and Oreo options and they can make any of the ice creams into a smoothie for you if you ask. They will give you tasters if any ice cream you want to try. Go here and eat! You won’t regret it!
the ice cream is so delicious and creamy. I have dreams of dead through chocolate ice cream cake! it is ineffective and if they are a chocolate fan, they do not sleep on it.
The ice cream was tasty, different texture than regular ice cream but great selection. I was missing the friendliness everyone talked about in their review.
