For Heaven's Steaks

After reading rave reviews of this unassuming little joint tucked into a back road away from the Clayton shopping strip, I felt that I had to give it a shot and was not disappointed. My order was the steak classic with the lot.<br/ <br/ Admittedly, the place doesn't look like much at first glance, but the food more than made up for it; the steak was juicy, the salami, cheese and egg all added to a delightful combination of flavour and the peppers added a little zing to the roll that kept it interesting. Service was great and staff were plenty friendly my only complaint, if any, is that the bread roll itself felt a little dry and noticeably detracted from the rest of the meal.<br/ <br/ Is it...

The owner, Paul, and the staff member on duty were both incredibly friendly! We chose to sit outside in the spacious courtyard, which was perfect for the kids to stretch their legs without being cramped next to other tables. We learned that the Italian Classic Double is the most popular dish, but we decided to try the Clayton Classic (and Double) during this visit. We also ordered a bacon and egg sandwich for the kids. Despite the line ahead of us, our meals arrived quickly. The steak was tender and absolutely delicious! Even Esther loved it. Every component of the sandwich was tasty! This place is definitely worth a visit. We look forward to returning soon to try their Italian Sausage!

Been coming here since before it had a name or any signage at all. They've always made the most delicious steak and Italian sausage rolls I've ever had. They even make they're own chilli oil. The rolls are fresh bread rolls and they come with steak/sausage, egg, salad, roast capsicum and salami. With or without chilli. They taste amazing and they only miss out on the 5 stars because the prices have gone up quite a lot and it's not value for money like it used to be. Definitely worth the visit.

Came across this place on Instagram decided to visit for some dinner. Most amazing steaks in all of Melbourne. Really juicy meat, everything is cooked fresh. Seriously great tasting steak sandwich’s. Definitely try the sausage with the steak it’s a winning combo and don’t forget to add the house made chilli sauce to your order it’s straight up quality.

This was highly recommended from a friend so we decided to try it out ! The steak sandwich was sensational! Loved the homemade chilli sauce too . Shame they don’t do hot chips
