Glen Cove, NY, has several good Italian restaurants, but Forest Avenue Pizza stands out to be really authentic. Why do I say that, everyone who works there is an Italian American and they make food the way they like to eat, awesome place. Last I had, Chicken Marsala and I really sat and savored it. Just ordered for the first time. Ordered my benchmark meal to test the mettle of a pizza restaurant. Veal Parm.Hero. 10/10 stars. Super delicious. A TON of veal. No tough baseball-mitt pieces. What a great restaurant! I was in town for my granddaughter's conclusion and last minute decided to do just pizza with family. Not only was the food fantastic, but the owners left us a bit at the end. They were so sweet and accommodating!! It's good to know a real family restaurant! Thanks again! Maybe I'll go back to Long Island!!

A great place to grab a slice of delicious pizza! They have so many options it was hard to choose just one! They have a nice outdoor seating area and plenty of seating inside as well!

I've been coming to Forest pizza for years.. the food is always good! Biggest slices in town! Best pizza in town!!
