Forno Osteria+ In Cinc

This was the first time at Forno. My wife is an East Coast Jersey girl who’s always looking for local Italian eateries to try, so we decided to give it a go to celebrate our anniversary with the kids. We were greeted by a friendly hostess who quickly took us to our table, and within minutes our waitress greeted us. Wish I recalled her name, but she was very pleasant and efficient. We had water service quickly followed by drink orders and appetizers. We ordered the bread basket and Heirloom Tomato bruschetta sampler to start. For dinner entrees, we chose the Tagliatelle Bolognese and added a Veal meatball, Pork Milanese, Asparagus Gnudi “Cacio e Pepe” and the kids ordered pizzas; one classic...

Forno is one of our favorite places in Cincy still. If you’re a cincy person who knows all the Italian places, think of forno as a less stuffy Sotto, can be casual still, but some really strong classic dishes as well as some more interesting ones.
