The in-laws wanted pizza for lunch and I happened to have this place bookmarked for their grandma pizzas. I placed an order through their website (for 10% off) for pickup and got Half Grandma Square pizza (with sausage), Half Grandpa Square pizza (with vodka sauce and mushrooms). The pie itself came out to $25, which is a pretty pricey pizza IMO. I think it was the toppings and making it half/half because according to the menu, a regular square pie is $17 so I may just do that next time and add my own toppings. Despite living in the area for 15 years I ordered from here only a handful of times. I thought it was just okay and nothing special. I never tried their plain pie until yesterday. My opinion has changed. Their cheese pizza is a work of art. Perfect balance of saltiness, tang, sweetness (very little), richness, herbs, crispness, moisture. Maybe the only small complaint is its a bit chewy but admittedly I am really reaching. Barstool's rating is legit and well deserved even though the ownership has changed since then.
We had the best Grandma pie last night. Crust was perfect! We ordered it well done and it was crunchy, the mozzarella and basil were generous and yummy! My husband loved the Eggplant Rollatini and only left me one bite because he inhaled it! I’m so thrilled they deliver to Alpine and I wouldn’t care if they charged $10.00 for a fee after paying crazy prices for Door Dash and Uber Eats. Best pizza in New Jersey and I love the staff!
I would give 4 and 1/2 stars if it was possible; all was pretty tasty fresh and well made plus the service is to notch from this family business. Just 2 notes, pizza slices were not hot enough soups were great but I’d recommend the chef to add some bacon or pancetta and a bit of cream in the pasta fagioli soup. Otherwise it’s a great find.

Went here for the 1st time and had chicken parm pizza And it was delicious!! It wasn't greasy, the chicken was tender, the sauce was amazing, and and the crust was thin but soft and chewy. The mozzarella sticks were fresh and tasty and great marinara sauce. service was quick and efficient and the staff was super friendly

Great pizza and great staff, could use refurbishment though. On the bright side, everything here is retro and this pace has a real vibe! Would recommend!
Great pizza and good service! We are from Chicago and we love our pizza. But the pizza at fort lee pizzeria is very tasty!!
