Cupcakes. I was very excited to get these cuk cakes. They looked delish. When I got home make some coffee and was ready to go. When I took a bit they were dense and dry. Not sure if I had a bad batch or they are just dense and dry. Totally disappointed . I also got a peach cobbler, it was more pie then cobbler. It was ok, nothing to brag about. The cakes are quite good overall (although a few can be a bit dry), and the service is just okay. The staff seems to have a bit of an attitude, as if you're lucky to have the chance to pay for cake from this small shop, which is amusing. That said, the cakes are definitely worth it. My favorites include the red velvet, pineapple, strawberry shortcake, and key lime pie. I do feel they've lost a bit of their charm since moving from 116th Street, but I'm hopeful they'll find new inspiration to innovate again.
Amazing customer service and the cakes the best cakes I’ve ever had. My mother has been going to this cake shop in 2013 and she’s been ordering here ever since she had me try it in 2023 and I am hooked on their cake slices. Our favorite cake flavor is the caramel which has two types of caramel frosting on it. It is so good I ordered the 9 inch cake for my mother’s birthday. If you are going to try anything from this location I would suggest the caramel cake slice
I picked up an order today and I have to say that the staff at this location are incredibly kind and welcoming. I had a long journey home, and they made sure to secure my order properly, ensuring that everything would arrive safely. I've been ordering cakes from here every year and I will continue to recommend the Make My Cake family to everyone I meet.

I went in and was greeted by a very friendly staff member. I absolutely love the sweet potato cheesecake; it's unbelievably delicious! I haven't had it in eight years, and it still tastes amazing. I moved away but was visiting and I'm so glad this place is still here. It may be small, but they have the best desserts!
Very disappointing this will not be the first time I traveled to this location and they was closed well before store hours. That's adding insult to injury because they don't even carry their menu fresh in stock as much as you think a bakery should.
Lazy service! We wanted a simple message Happy 70th birthday Mom! on a birthday cake and they couldn 't even get that right. The message was missing the 70th , the most important part! How do you mess up such a simple message? SMH
Yummy so glad the sell by the slice. I got a white cake with strawberries filling ? the bread was so moist. The pineapple up side down cake was so good. I'm so glad they down the street
