My sister and I are low key Bacon, Egg and Cheese sandwich connoisseurs. That being said we unanimously agreed that their Double Egg, Double Cheese, Double Bacon sandwich was the best we've ever had IN OUR LIVES. Granted we have only been eating BEC for 20 years so far this one takes the cake. First the ROLL: Not stale, not too much bread that you can't even finish your sandwich and no leak throughs. BACON: we asked for crispy and they delivered. It wasn't greasy or dripping, it wasn't burnt and I don't know what kind of bacon they use but I swear it tasted better than all the rest. Shrinkflation has hit the deli. I just got a Godfather, something I 've had for 20 years, but it should be called shredded lettuce and tomato with side of cold cuts. They increased price and downsized 25%. Never before have I been able to eat even 1/2 of a Godfather hero, but I ate almost the entire hero. I can 't say if it was good or not, but Vegans would love it. Please do better. I haven 't been to you in months, and I miss the old Fortunas
Fortuna's has been a favorite of mine for as long as I can remember. Although I don’t live in town, I make it a point to visit as often as possible with my kids. Their deli sandwiches are unbeatable, and my children absolutely love the mac and cheese!
In response to the previous comments, I want to mention that the staff were incredibly nice, and that's saying something coming from a New Yorker who encounters rude people regularly. Additionally, your sandwich was absolutely delicious!

I only had lunch here, so I can’t speak to Westport's reputation when it comes to large sandwiches, but I was disappointed. I had high hopes, but the result didn't meet my expectations at all.
Food was excellent and fresh. Service was amazing. Picked up.4 sandwiches and everyone raved how good. Deli was very clean and food displayed very nicely.
We order our Saturday breakfast sandwiches from this place for the shop. The food quality and service are outstanding.
I absolutely love this place! I can't express how wonderful the deli is and how amazing the staff is.
