Watery gravy, frozen roasties, I’m aware of how miserable the staff are from previous visits but my mam booked this… and! What a surprise! miserable staff again, guys if you don’t like working in hospitality or dealing with people then simple answer is don’t, blonde girl in blazer particularly rude and seemed like she didn’t want to be there, red headed girl who showed us our seats was the exception, I believe her name was “teagan” tell the rest of the staff to be like her, once again , if you don’t like working with people then DONT, it’s not like it’s cheap food either. Oh and they got my sons order wrong twice, they were also fuming about getting more gravy, there’s a multitude of places...
I’ve been to this pub many times and always been fantastic food but Friday was a last minute choice as a friend was looking for a place for 14 guests he had phoned a few places booked one close to all of us but I suggested The Fox he then rang and it was all booked with the fox blackmail when we arrived the front of house was so friendly it was welcoming as always we all got there our orders were taken and fair play the chef didn’t expect 14 people extra that day but like always the food was 1st class all perfectly cooked and spot on I would recommend this pub to everyone you will not be disappointed. I’ve been so many times recently, it seems a little pricey for the area (well, I had steak every time) but it was incredible. I was shocked at how amazing the steak was considering I’d usually steer away from steaks in pubs as they’re always for some reason way too overcooked but it comes out perfectly, and huge too. The chips are home cooked and seriously delicious, I can’t recommend this pub enough. Just make sure to book any day of the week as if it’s a quiet night the chef will finish early, or the opposite they’re booked out due to large booked dinner parties.
We just went for dinner The Fox and Hounds is always the best option when you need a hearty one! My partner's steak was excellent quality and cooked perfectly. The cod and chips is always beautiful. This place has the best chips EVER. The staff are always friendly and prompt. Has a lovely beer garden for nice weather. I'm surprised this place doesn't get more attention it is our favourite. You can guarantee a great meal here.

We went for lunch and had beautiful food cooked perfectly.Everyone enjoyed the food and we had quite a different selection.It is also excellent valueThe waitress was brilliant and couldn't do any more for us than she did.Thank you
My granddaughter and I went for Sunday dinner and was not disappointed the food fantastic and service first class we were made welcome as soon as we walked in
Sandwich ask for chicken just all sauce chips half cooked dripping in fat never again will i step foot in that place, was nice a few year's ago
2 prawn cocktails to start decent Turkey dinner small amount of turkey. Beef dinner excellent Veg was lovely Coffee possibly instant
